AC/DC: Eight Hours Of Dedicated Programming To Air On Australian TV
January 11, 2006To mark the 26th anniversary of the passing of AC/DC frontman Bon Scott (February 19) and the 30th anniversary of the release of the group's "T.N.T." album (February 20),Australian cable TV station MaxTV "have decided to dedicate an entire day of programming to AC/DC on Saturday, February 18 from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. "We'll play every clip, the concert from Madrid and I am also trying to license a couple of other specials including the Live in Paris special," stated MaxTV's Program Director. "Pending on the costs to aquire such specials will be the verdict if I can play these. I am in contact with their record label Alberts in order to secure as much as we can to pay tribute to Bon as well as AC/DC on this day."
